William Gazecki’s career in the entertainment business spans three decades, beginning in the early 70’s as a recording engineer in the music business. He soon went on to establish himself as a talented record producer, earning Gold and Platinum Record Albums for Bette Midler's The Rose, The Doors' Alive She Cried and The Doors' Greatest Hits Vol. 2. In the early 80’s, he moved on to build a successful career in sound mixing for television and film, earning three Emmy nominations (two for Hill Street Blues and one for the mini-series, Foxfire) and his first Emmy win for St. Elsewhere. In the mid 90's, William turned his talents to documentary filmmaking, earning an Academy Award nomination and a second Emmy win for his first feature documentary, WACO: The Rules of Engagement. William is also a recipient of the International Press Academy's Golden Satellite Award for Outstanding Feature Documentary -- an honor he received for his second feature documentary, Reckless Indifference. With five completed feature length documentaries and numerous film festival and other awards under his belt, William Gazecki is showing no signs of slowing down. It is anticipated the project will take upwards of 1 year to complete, and will debut at major film festivals beginning in 2010. Thanksgiving is almost upon us and the distraction of that family time combined with the ongoing financial chaos is having its toll on our efforts, but we are committed and tenacious in our commitment to the project, and so we persevere. Investment is proceeding and we’ve taken in over US$1,000 in donations since we launched the donation gateway last week. We welcome the participation of all who share a common interest in exposing the corrupt practices within the financial markets that have resulted in our collective immersion in financial chaos. Shooting will begin in January and we are confident that we can meet our target theatrical release date of October 2009. We intend to debut the film at selected International Film Festivals prior to its theatrical release. The big news is that we hope to announce the signing of a marquee director this week or next who we are in discussion with. This well respected and prolific director has been nominated for an Academy Award for a previous investigative documentary, and is also a two-time Emmy award nominee and one time Emmy winner. Because of this gentleman’s involvement, and since the bulk of the investment interest and donations are originating within the United States, the film’s production will now be completely U.S. centric, and so we are in the process of establishing an office and corporate structure here. The film will feature prominently the work of GATA, and will seek to validate many of GATA’s claims, or at the very least, corroborate them, with expert testimony from Nobel award winning economists and former leadership of various U.S. government institutions such as the Federal Reserve, the Treasury, the Commodities and Futures Trading Commission. We will seek to establish whether or not the Central Banks of the G8 nations do in fact have the quantities of gold as reported annually, or if they have, as we suspect, leased it all out in the gold carry trade and have only a fraction of what is reported in actual bullion. One of the film’s key objectives is to identify groups and individuals who are the beneficiaries of the financial mayhem that has resulted from over-capitalization of the global financial system and subsequent volatility across various asset classes. We seek to draw connections between institutions like the Bank for International Settlements, the International Monetary Fund, the U.S. Treasury Department, and the Federal Reserve Board where associations and previous relationships would provide certainly the environment if not the encouragement for collusion and unlawful corruption. We will compare the career paths of selected government appointed officials in an effort to establish relationships that demonstrate influence, bias, and thinking towards certain policy structures and legislation. But most importantly, we will demonstrate conclusively that the floating currencies of the G8 nations, pegged to nothing more than perceived value, is the most irresponsible and destructive monetary policy ever devised by modern man. We will demonstrate the inherent stability of a global currency back by tangible assets such as gold and silver, and prove irrefutably that in the historical context, gold is, in fact, the monetary standard, and really, always has been. Our objective in producing this film is to instill a basic comprehension in its viewers of the essential mechanics of monetary function, and trace the historical line from the establishment of the U.S. Federal Reserve up until the collapse of the banking, automotive, and soon, tourism, airline, steel and manufacturing sectors to demonstrate the path to the corrupt economic and monetary policy of today. Many recognized names in the modern financial landscape have agreed to participate, though we will not publish their names here to maintain anticipation at a high level. These individuals collectively represent some of the most original and accurate thinking of our times, as is evidenced by their verified predictions from years past of most of what has now unfolded. The enthusiasm and overall support this project is getting from all over the world is nothing short of amazing. From housewives to retired bankers to autoworkers to farmers...everywhere people have enough of being pushed around by their government. This week we will hopefully finalize arrangements with our director. We will announce his name as soon as a deal is in place. November 13, 2008 What a squandered legacy for posterity! Those who should be setting examples of conduct through leadership of government and business instead regard us as so many "units". In fact, we are distinguished from this elite group by the insulting title of "consumer". Its financial cannibalism, and the only thing worse is the complacency demonstrated by us consumers in our willing participation. We do consume cars, houses and credit beyond our means, and our share of the guilt must be acknowledged, and our behavior modified accordingly. This film is intended as a lightning rod - a venue to attract all the pent up energy and frustration of the beaten and bedraggled consumer who would gladly embrace change should it be presented in a palatable form. This project is that venue. We plan to make the best film possible without resorting to contriving scenes to demonstrate a flimsy half-truth or maligning individuals sensationalisticly. We strive to simply tell the truth, and deconstruct and simplify the apparently complex web of financial devices and ploys and markets that are intended by their very complexity to evade recognition as components in a well-oiled fraud machine. We are in the process of establishing an online community where jurisdiction by jurisdiction across first the G8, then the G20, and ultimately G-All - we will scrutinize the policies and actions of government and industry where they manifest results seemingly contrary to the public interest. How is these banks are recipients of these unprecedented bailout packages, yet none of it filters through to the economy in general? The banks and financial institutions that first originated this system with the regulatory blessing of their governments, and then stripped it of its value, is now being recapitalized for another round. Why are the salaries and compensatory packages of government and industries financed by public dollars not available for discussion or scrutiny? REAL leadership would be the first to step up and declare a substantial voluntary cut in pay. These people aren't leaders.they're little more than gangsters in $5,000 suits. Its time to expose them.identify the policies and regulations that facilitate their criminal activity, and eliminate them. Close the loopholes, and level the playing field. Bush advocates less government interference with markets when it serves the purpose of unbridled consumer fleecing, but then as soon and the institutions of mass financial destruction are in trouble as a result of their insatiable appetite for earnings, the government is the first to step in and provide cash cash and more cash - a disingenuous contradiction that is the essence of this system's disclosure. I believe we can force a change. And not within the purview of existing government structures. Something new is needed. In this electronic age, we are certainly capable of revolutionizing the class structure that has resulted from this massive breach of leadership on a global scale.
